Domaine Aspras is located in Correns, known as the first organic village in France, and is run by the Latz family. The cuvées “À Lisa” pay tribute to Lisa Latz, whose life reflects key moments of the 20th century and for whom the estate was a place of welcome alongside her husband, Gottfried.
Made entirely from Merlot, À Lisa Rouge is crafted with great attention to preserving whole berries, followed by a short semi-carbonic maceration, encouraging fermentation to begin inside the grapes and resulting in a fruit-forward, gently structured style.
The wine has a deep, intense, brilliant colour with violet and blue highlights. The nose is intense, showing red fruits, black berries and hints of garrigue. The palate is balanced and generous, finishing on silky, fruit-driven tannins.
