Use of site
To comply with licensing and other legislation, Bare Wine website is ONLY available for use by persons of 18 years old or over. By using the website you agree that you’re over 18 years old. If you’re not, you must not use this website.
Some parts of the Bare Wine website may require you to register an account with us to access additional information or to purchase products.
By registering for an account with us you agree that:
-All personal information is accurate at the time of registering that account.
-You’ll notify us if any information changes.
-You shall not impersonate any other person.
Please bear in mind it is a legal requirement to be over the age of 18 to purchase alcohol within New-Zealand.
All products and services are subject to availability.
Please note that reviews and images of products on our site are for descriptive and illustrative purposes only. Your products may vary slightly from those images (Vintage, new label..).
We will not be liable for loss or damage due to the handling by customers. In particular we will not be liable for spillages or breakages.
Please be aware that:
- Alcohol should be consumed in moderation.
- Red wine in particular can cause staining on fabrics.
- Extra care should be taken when removing the cork of Champagnes and sparkling wines.
- A case of wine can be heavy so when lifting it, extra care should be taken.
- All prices are in NZ dollars and include GST.
- Website orders can be shipped to a NZ address only and not postal addresses.

Any discounted prices will be clearly listed. We reserve the right to amend prices without notice in the event of currency fluctuations, changes in rate of GST or other taxes or other market conditions.
We reserve the right to adjust prices, offers, goods and specifications of goods at our discretion.
All orders are priced in New Zealand dollars and including of GST. An email receipt will be sent to customers after payment has gone through. We will notify the customer by email for any payment issues and will request alternative payment options before dispatch of items.
By communicating electronically with bare Wine, you consent to receive further communication by email from us. We will communicate with you by e-mail or by posting notices on this website. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
All content included on this site, such as text, logos, button icons, images, drawings, digital downloads, and software, is Bare Wine property’s or its content suppliers and protected by international copyright laws. The compilation of all content on this site is the exclusive property of Bare Wine and protected by international copyright laws.
Bare Wine operates the website www.barewine.co.nz As part of our operations we may gather certain types of information about the users of our site:
-Personally identifiable information. This is provided by you when you register for services that we may offer (e.g.: email newsletters, get in touch…). Providing this information will always be optional for you. However, some services may not be available to you if you choose not to provide it.
Your contact information will only be used to send you the product that you purchase and your billing information will only be used to bill you for that product. This information will in no way be used for marketing purposes – except if you check the box to receive the newsletter – , nor will it be shared with any third parties.
We collect this information to provide the best possible service to you while you are visiting our site. To this end we may use the information that you provide for the following purposes:
- For any marketing, promotional, publicity or market research that we might undertake.
- For any other purposes for which you have given permission.
When you place an order online, your personal information and credit card information are scrambled using SSL encryption technology before being sent over the Internet. This makes it virtually impossible for your information to be stolen or intercepted while being transferred through cyberspace. When we receive your order, it is kept encrypted until we’re ready to process it. In addition, we erase your credit card information from our web site database so it isn’t connected to the Internet, and is therefore safe from “hackers.”
You will always have the option to opt in certain services and to opt out of those services at any stage. Please send an email with your request at email@example.com if you change your mind.
We deliver throughout New Zealand. Our deliveries out of Auckland central are made by trusted third party carriers. Deliveries require a signature. You should keep your delivery note and any packaging if any order is missing or damaged.
If delivery address is unattended during delivery – we will do our best to leave the parcel in a protected and safe area – if we cannot find a proper safe area for your item to be left, we will leave a note to suggest best re-delivering day and time.
For Auckland Central, delivery times are set to be done between 9am and 1pm on Monday – Wednesday and Friday. All local orders received on a delivery day before 10 am will be delivered the same day. All local orders received after 10am will be delivered on the next delivery day.
We reserve the right to change the date of delivery at any time – we will endeavor to communicate with our customers the alternative date as soon as possible.

-All orders in Zone 1-2-3-4-5 above $100 will be delivered with NO charges
-All orders in Zone 1-2-3-4-5 below $100 will be delivered with a $5 charge.

Cancellation, Breakage, Refund
At Bare, all the wines we purchase must meet our own exacting standards. They are shipped here in refrigerated containers and stored in our insulated warehouse, where temperature fluctuations are minimal. If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, do not hesitate to contact us on 022 0326315 and we will look to remedy the problem immediately.
Faulty wines (corked, oxidised etc) will be replaced where possible, otherwise refunded. Picking errors or goods damaged in transit, contact us within 48 hours so that we can replace or correct. Please keep the damaged bottles as we’ll need those to discuss the incident with our couriers.
For any cancellation, refund or breakage please be in touch within 48h after delivery date-
By all means we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
To reflect the fact that our business is growing constantly, we reserve the right to change this policy at any time. Please check this page from time to time to check any changes.
We reserved the right to change the price or update products at any time due to stock availability and/or changes in exchange rates or other unforeseen circumstances.
