✔ 10% When purchasing 12 or more bottles
Artana is crafted from the Muscat of Kefalonia grape, known for its small berries. In the local dialect, "Artana" translates to "flower-bed." This variety thrives in a superb semi-mountainous vineyard in Agona, characterized by clay-sandy soils and terraced cultivation to manage the region's steep slopes. The vineyard's favorable orientation allows it to benefit from refreshing sea breezes, enhancing the expression of the Muscat grape.
The vineyard employs strict pruning, late harvesting, and selective sorting to ensure that only the highest quality grapes are used. The fermentation process is designed to be as natural as possible, allowing the terroir and grape variety to showcase their distinct personalities. To maintain the wine's authentic character, no clarifiers or filters are used during production.
Artana is distinguished by its rich flavor profile and high natural acidity, resulting in a wine with an exceptionally intense character, making it a remarkable choice for gastronomic pairings.
