Bare Wine Cellar & Tasting Room

We're tucked down the lane at 49 Brown Street, just off the main road in Ponsonby/Grey Lynn. Bare Wine Cellar is a small, relaxed space where we focus on good wine, simple food, and a warm atmosphere.

 

We have a large selection of wines—over 350 bottles from New Zealand and abroad—with a focus on natural, organic, and low-intervention styles. You’re welcome to come in for a glass, a casual tasting flight, or even a blind flight if you're up for something fun.

Seating is limited (and a waitlist may apply), so we recommend booking ahead. If you have any questions, feel free to get in touch. We’re open Thursday to Saturday and each table available for a two-hour session.

Our food menu is short but made with care. We work with a few local suppliers to put together easy, seasonal plates that go well with what’s in your glass.
