‘Lemonade Cake’ is an ode to one of Lauren’s favorite childhood books (Seven Silly Eaters).
The whole bunch pressed Sauvignon blanc, skin contact Gewurztraminer, blended with carbonic and skin contact Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris Chardonnay and Riesling is an absolute crowd pleaser.
Organic and dry-farmed vineyards, wild fermentation, no fining, no filtration and minimal sulfur at bottling.
The winemakers Lauren and Jim collectively worked across the beer, wine, hop, and malt industries for 10+ years and have now landed in the rich fruit basket that is Nelson. They farm their own organic vineyard with biodynamic practices and make minimal intervention wine.
