Organically grown Sauvignon Blanc from Silver Wing block since 2007, the grapes are handpicked. Skin contact for three days and fermentation in 675L ceramic egg, without any filtration or additions.
Beautiful yellow gold color, white flowers, peach, and aromas of pineapple on the nose.
Structured with flavors of apple, honey, cashew nuts, and a good palate weight.
The winemaker Andrew Fox, worked in wineries in Marlborough, Hawkes Bay, and North Canterbury, and trained in Burgundy, Loire Valley, or Navarra Spain. He started to make his own wine in 2010 and Silver wing has now their own winery.
