A Travel-inspired rosé (think L'Anglore) except this one was made using Pinot Noir.

Thousand Gods is a new label to New Zealand, it's Simon and Lauren Sharpe, two Kiwi winemakers who have returned to New Zealand to raise their family after years spent in France. Both winemakers for some time in the South of France, they are now based in Christchurch and source organic fruit for their wines from Churton's biodynamic vineyards in Marlborough.

100% Pinot Noir, hand harvested, then macerated for just 7 days to impart just enough colour, aromatics and tannin before being pressed into 70% aged French oak and 30% Stainless Steel. Oak to give texture, steel to retain freshness. This is a darker than usual rosé, one with plenty of colour and structure, and absolutely bursting with berry and fruit flavour! Elegant and fine drinking!

Big lifted aromatics of strawberry jam, glacé cherry, kirsch, hibiscus and rooibos with super juicy fruit and mouth-watering acidity on the palate. A smattering of Christmas spice and herbs de provence garrigue notes make this one of the most unique and delicious rosé wines in New Zealand!!

Grapes from biodynamic farming, natural yeast and low added sulfites.
