The “Grand Vin” from Frank Cornelissen domain (1000 to 2000 bottles produced every year). 

Planted in the 1910's, the Barbabecchi vineyard is capturing the first and cool morning sun rays at 910m of altitude with North-North East exposure.

This pure Nerello Mascalese from ungrafted old vines makes a profound wine, rich as well as elegant, with character, personality and great finesse and is produced only in great vintages where we achieve phenolic ripeness.

Frank Cornelissen is undoubtedly one of the rockstars of the natural wine scene. A Belgian living on the foothills of Mount Etna, his wines are full of volcanic minerality and a strong sense of place.
