The average age of the vines at Chateau Gombaude Guillot is about 60 years old. Planted on a typical Pomerol terroir of gravel and clay.. not far from the Blue Clay soil, the estate has been cultivating Biodynamic since 2006.

The wine is a blend of 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc, raised for 12 to 15 month in barrel with the odd use of concrete tank and amphora depending of the vintage.
